A large, vintage Italian ‘Bongusto Italy Founded 1834’ copper & brass cooking stock pot / dutch oven with lid. It measures 36cm x 25cm and has a very generous capacity. It weighs nearly 2.4kg.
The inside is lined with tin. The side handles are decorated with fruit with a twisted rope design near the rim and around lid. It is marked on the bottom "Bongusto Italy” “Founded 1834".
A stunning piece of kitchenalia. Condition: Good vintage, used condition.&nb...sp;It is of a good construction that requires some cleaning to remove age related wear marks. There are some patina marks on the copper but most of it has a lovely sheen. There are no dents or broken parts.
