This is a rare late 1800s to early 1900s billiard item from the Brunswick Balke Collender Co. They offered 2 or 3 different sizes of their various marquetry (wood inlay) pictures in their catalogs, and even offered to custom create pictures that customers requested! In WOOD! These are occasionally found with a fragile paper sticker - on their backsides - denoting which woods were used to create the picture. This one does not still have its paper tag referencing the woods us...ed. It's 18" wide x 11" tall and in very nice condition. NOTE: The closeup shot, which is from an original 1910 catalog, is conveniently sized for framing at 8 1/2" x 11".
