FOR PARTS/REPAIR Early Model Commodore VIC-20 Computer with square power port
Do not have the correct power supply so am unable to test if it powers on. My guess is there may be problems. The power switch can be pretty loose at times. Loose as in its movement, not in how it is mounted.
I did pull a couple springs from the keyboard to replace ones that were missing on another vic20 I have that I know is working. I replaced them with similar spri...ngs from my parts bins, but the "springiness" is a little firmer and the difference can be noticed between the different keys when typing although they work almost just as well. The two keys with the slightly firmer springs are the UK Pound key and the Up Arrow key located in the top right corner. I chose those keys since I expect them to be used less. It is easy to swap the springs with other keys if you prefer.
One case screw is missing. If you look at the photo of the bottom you can see the bottom center screw hole is empty.
Please take a close look at the photos and descriptions and let me know if you have any questions before making a bid.
Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground, USPS Priority Mail or Ebay International. If being shipped internationally please note that no customs, taxes or other such fees are included in the purchase cost. Any import requirements or costs will have to be determined and dealt with independently by the purchaser.
