This is an antique Imperia circular cast iron sock knitting machine which as the pictures show is in reasonable condition considering the age of the sock knitting machine. It has come from a working environment so has been used in the last three years by a sick knitting enthusiast that has now retired. It comes with a lot of different accessories as well as an instruction book, weights and needles. It has three cylinders (36/72, 42/84 and 54/108) plus a lovely cast on basket.The is one... part that does not seem genuine to the original sock knitter- the yarn post is not the original as it does not have the continuous metal so is threaded which is not how the Imperia was originally sent out. This part does the job and is secure but we wanted to highlight that this was something that was not genuine to the authenticity of the machine.
