I am always trying to offer the nicest vintage watches here on eBay. This is a very cool vintage Wakmann Triple Date Triple register Swiss chronograph calendar watch that dates back to the 1960's or early 1970's. This hard to find complex Swiss made watch comes out of my personal collection.Wakmann... and Breitling were sister companies as far as I know. I don't remember how long this watch has been sitting in my safe deposit box but it is time to let someone else appreciate this hard to find and very desirable timepiece. It is larger than most vintage watches at 39.1 mm wide not including the two pushers and SIGNED crown and has 20 mm lug spacing. The front of this SIGNED watch case is copper gold in color and is assumed to be gold plated or gold filled. The screw-off case back is stainless steel. The case back also claims this watch was pressure tested to 5 ATM which is 50 meters of water resistance. It also says the watch is Antimagnetic and Incabloc. There is a number which is hard to read. It looks like 1310.01.75. The case shows a minimum of wear. There are two small recessed pushers on the 9 o'clock side of the case. The top one controls the day of the week window. The bottom one advances the date of the month pointer on the outer chapter ring. I do not see how the month is changed. This watch has a 17 Jewel manual wind Incabloc movement and is running. The chronograph is working but since this watch has been sitting for years it might need to be serviced. The winding stem definitely need to be oiled as it is squeaking when you wind the watch. The SIGNED dial is super clean and appears to be original. All the hands appear to be original and are matching. The crystal has a scratch just above the day of the week window and is otherwise clean. There is a 20 mm tan leather strap attached.
