George II Silver Pint Tankard By Thomas Mason, London 1745.
This large pint tankard is in great shape for its age but appears to have been modified later in life by the victorians.
The Victorians have added a scroll engraving around the body of the tankard but have done an exquisite job leaving a blank cartouche.
Additionally, they have gilded the interior, however, this has partially worn.
It measures 122mm in height and 96mm in diameter. The tankard weighs 388g....r>
