Description
Jacksons antique are pleased to offer a fine Chinese bronze censer of fantastic form. Signed to the base, twin mythical beasts cast upon the shoulders. Decorated with probably later engraved scenes with figures boating amongst foliage. To the top rim a scrolling foliage boarder. The base signed with a beautifully crisp 6 character xuande mark to the centre flanked by twin dragons.
Condition
Very good, mino...r pitting, scratching and blemishing consistent with age and polishing.
