This listing is for a vintage Japanese smoking set. The set includes a tray, table lighter, cigarette box, and ashtray. It was made in Japan, and is in very good condition, with minimal wear, and one flaw. The chrome and gold plating on the entire set is very nice, and buffs to a brilliant shine. The tray is beautiful, and in good condition, but there is one spot on the outside rim where there is a crack. It is where the long, outside handle part of the tray is. I started to use a litt...le J.B. Weld to repair it, but I decided to let the new owner fix it how ever they want, and that's if they want; the tray is completely intact, and could be displayed without repairing the crack; the tray measures 11" x 5 7/8". The table lighter body has some light surface wear, but nothing significant. The lighter insert is marked Atomic, and it is fully functional. The insert's chrome plating does have a fair amount of visible wear. The flint tube is clear, and with one inserted a nice spark is produced. This is a petrol lighter, and it has NOT been filled and tested. The cigarette box is in excellent condition, and has very little wear. The ashtray does have evidence of use on the inside, but the outside is very nice, and shows no flaws. This is quite an eye catching set, and is sure to be a conversation piece in any collection or home. Thank you for looking.
