Earhart worked closely with publisher G.P. Putnam with publicity for her flight and then the subsequent publishing of this memoir about the experience.
There is an interesting former owner provenance on this copy. It was owned by Janet Dietrich, an aviatrix who was one of the "Mercury 13" and trained with the other astronauts who later became the "Mercury 7" in 1960. There is a printed business card for Miss Jan Christine Dietrich inside the front cover, as well as a couple of photocopied articles about her. Winning bidder pays $4.00 shipping. Utah residents add 7% sales tax. Please see my other auctions.
