This is a rare and unusual lighter with the original cast iron stand. Lighter is marked CAPITOL LIGHTER PAT SEPTEMBEER 17, 1912 as shown in the photos. BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE HIGH QUALITY ITEM.
- The lighter is 4 1/2" tall, looks to have all the parts and seems to be workable- CAST IRON STAND weighs total of 13.3 lbs.- Stand measures 30" inches in height- Stand has 2 curved openings for cigarettes or cigars to be place while burning - Stand has... great patina and has a decorative cast iron rope tassel hanging in the center- Stand probably had a glass ashtray in the center, which needs to be replaced- The lighter and stand have no damaged, cracked or broken parts - This item is in as found condition, came to me out of an old West Texas estate about 38 yrs ago- Undamaged, uncleaned and original, probably had a glass ash tray that needs to be replaced
