This is an amazing pair of original California Black and Gold license plates. These were used on 1963-1969 passenger cars. These plates were removed from a car in 1974 and have been in cool, dry storage ever since. I called the California DMV and verified that these plates are "Clear" in their system and eligible to be used in the Year of Manufacturer(YOM) program. This is an amazing pair of plates.
These plates are in excellent original condition as shown. They were only used on a ...car for a few years and have been in cool, dry storage ever since. They are very straight with no bends or bows. The paint is original and fantastic with very light wear as shown. There is no rust. These plates would be right at home on the nicest of cars.
