This is a vintage Quick-Set Elevator Hi-Boy IV Tripod which I'm guessing was manufactured circa 1960. One owner (estate sale). It extends to about 6' 6" as pictured, and even higher if you raise the center shaft. It weighs ~12 pounds, and can support a film movie camera (like a Bolex 16mm, for which it was used). There is superficial corrosion and rust, but all legs extend and the head swivels in all directions - operation is smooth smoothly. This is ...one of many items in a well-stored and well-cared-for vintage 1950s - 1960s photographic and electronics collection. Everything in this collection has been in proper working order.
