These are large (twice the size of a normal 5 amp crabtree) 15 amp Crabtree industrial cast iron clad switch's circa 1948.The nice brass toggles have a satisfying clunk.Apart from the fact that they are far superior in looks and performance than the terrible reproductions coming in from India it is also far safer - and even though it is already 60 years old it will still outlast and outperform the dreadful fakes that are now peddled on ebay.(repro internal switches operate like a limp ...handshake)
The porcelain switch's inside are in perfect working condition and I gaurantee they will last at least as long as they have already. I have sold vintage switches for years and have thousands of spares and yet no one has yet asked! So now I offer free replacements!The single measures 94mm x 94mm x 63mm depth and the doubles (2) measure 170mm x 92 wide x 55mm deep.
