A lovely and unusual Newlyn Copper inkwell, cube shaped with repousse fish design to three sides and a decorative rivetted piece to back which extends up and bends to form a hinged cover. Measures just over 2.5" square, not including cover which extends to 4.25". In good antique condition, some marks and one or two scratches; creases to cover handle and a chip to underside of lip of original ceramic liner. Not over polished so retains great detail.
