OUR NAVAL RESERVE THE FIRST MERCANTILE ARMED CRUISER -  THE "TEUTONIC" BY THOMAS RHODES 1890 - WHITE STAR LINE.

6 1/4" x 9" thirty page softback book about R.M.S."Teutonic" as an Mercantile Armed Cruiser including photos of her interiors, line drawings of Thomas Ismay, Sir Edward Harland, her Captain Henry Parsell R.N.R. and a photo of one of her guns. At the back of the book is a fold out map of the world showing the number of days it would take for Teutonic or Majestic to transport... troops to the Principle Ports of the Empire.

Published by George Philip & Son, 32 Fleet Street London 1890.

Losses to front cover, top and bottom left corners, plus age related wear and tear.
