Determining what is or isn’t an authentic Coca Cola tray is challenging. There are many legitimate reproductions, though many of those have bar codes, which would indicate recent production. There are also a great many fakes. Some people paint the back of the fake trays black, because the originals had a black back. It can be difficult to be certain. We guarantee the authenticity. If you provide documentation that this tray is not authentic, we will accept it back and issue credit fo...r the item and your return standard (not priority) shipping.This tray has the following features. The back is authentic black as you can see bare metal and/or rust where it is worn or scraped (though a previous owner painted an ‘M’ back there). To the left of the man’s foot, you can make out the name of Fred Mizen, the artist. On each tail of the capital C, there is trademark information. Coca Cola, American Art Works, and Made in USA appear on the lower area just above Drink Coca Cola. The tray measures approximately 10 1/2” wide by 13 1/4” tall.
