Blue Cherry AntiquesFine Antiques & CollectablesAntique Oak Cigar BoxAn oak and metal mounted cigar box, Edwardian or inter-war period. It has a lock with shield shaped escutcheon and diamond shaped decorative mounts to the lid. It also has the 'Cigars' metal mount to the center of the lid. Internally is has a movable divider so you can alter the section sizes to suit. The lock plate is marked 'British Make'. It is nicely made and quite sturdy without ...being clunky with nice grain to the lid.
ConditionGood for period, minor wear, marks and small knocks as expected. Lock works fine, hinges good. Some traces of adhesive to corners of base (likely from a previous owner applying rubber feet or similar).
