Vintage Lamson LP1 Fly Reel W/spare Spool, Pouch, & Suede.

Beautiful vintage Lamson LP1 fly reel with spare spool, original pouch, and suede case.This reel, from the 90's, has never had line mounted or been fished!Good luck finding this model in unused condition at any price!This vintage generation of Lamson LP model reels have a legendary status and faithful following for their tight machine tolerances, durability, and smooth as glass drag systems.The LP1 is the perfect companion for and balances well with 1-3wt small stream fly rods. 2 7/8" ...diameter sizing.I've owned this unfished example for over 20 years - and haven't mounted it to a reel seat! (I have far too much fly fishing gear, and have routinely elected to use the Hardy and CFO reels I had that I received from my father before this - and many other - subsequent purchases). Pristine condition, save a couple of tiny nicks to the frame from handling.
