Antique Late 19th Century HAC Carved Oak Cased Mantel Clock (Hamburg American)
This is an Antique Late 19th Century HAC Carved Oak Cased Mantel Clock. This is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a stunning oak body with carved finials and balusters to the front. The oak has a dark conker coloured finish, with a subtle grain. There is a very mild patina, which it has acquired through time. The face is an enamel chapter ring surrounding a circular, br...ass centre, with black Roman numerals and hands. The clock is marked with the crossed arrows symbol (the symbol for Hamburg American Clock Company). There are two winding trains. The face has a brass framed, glass casing, which is intact and is in excellent condition. The clock stands on four brass bun feet. To the back of the clock is a door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and in excellent condition. The mechanism has been very well maintained. There is a coiled chime bar, which is in full working order. The mechanism is marked with the crossed arrows symbol. This clock comes complete with it's key and pendulum.
