Vintage 1955 Mercury Mark 55 Toy Boat Outboard Motor Battery Op + Box, Kiekhaefer Corporation. 1955 Mercury Mark 55 40 HP. This is the first Mercury K&O made and it's of the 40 HP Mark 55. Notice the airplane style decal on the top of the cowl 1st year only I believe. Notice the original box is in great shape for over 60 years old. Motor tested and works great!Only thing I see missing is one of the little disk/pads that attaches the motor to the boat transom.
