Vtg Mid Century Famous Ohio Friley & Fistick Artist Designed KilnForms Art Pottery Fish Trivet.
Condition is "Used". There are no chips or cracks on this piece. The beige glaze shows crazing. It is possible the feet on the bottom may have originally had cork inset inside the feet. Ifso, the cork is missing. However the feet are not damaged in any way. Please review photos closely. About the artists:Both artists Gene Friley and Stanley Fistick were extremely accomplished artists that became Professors at Ohio State University in the mid 1950's.Stanley Fistick a world traveler has had works exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art and in the permanent collection of the Corning Glass Museum. His resume' lists Putney Pottery, Fenton Art Glass, Heisey Glass, Gonder Pottery and KilnForms Inc.Gene Friley has works displayed in the concourse of the Cultural Arts Division of Upper, Arlington Ohio.
