A large framed work of The Deposition of Christ that is beautifully painted and dating to the 19th Century.Age- 19th CenturySize- 36 by 28.5 inches approx (915 x 725 mm) including frame, panel 27.5 by 19.75 inches approxMedium- Oils on canvas laid to metal panel
Frame- Old wooden frame, some knocks, offered free with the painting.Condition- Generally very good, we would be happy to hang this as found. Some varnish browning in patches and some dirty varnish marks to the sky top right.
Signature- Unsigned.
