Original Description:
A lovely antique silver inkwell in the form of a bell. The inkwell has a glass liner which is a loose fit but appears to be original. The silver is in good undamaged condition with only a tiny dent near the base at the rear. It measures approximately 3.25 inches (80mm) high and the diameter at the base is also 3.25 inches (80mm). The hinge is good and strong and the inside of the lid is hallmarked for Birmingham 1911. The base is weighted and the inkwell weighs 188 grams in total.
