Here is an exceptional sterling silver bookmark marked Sterling with a 5 pointed star (☆) . It measures 3-1/4 inches long overall, and weighs 8.9 grams. The clip consists of a flat strip of sterling silver folded over from the top and with each end formed into a rounded end. Atop the clip rests beautifully detailed a 5 petal flower finial. The sterling star mark is on the back of the longer part of the clip. I do not know who made it or where it was made. Please review the photos for a complete description.
