Original Description:
This is an absolutely beautiful American brilliant period cut glass punch/egg nog bowl, with nice deep cuts. Although I do not claim to be an ABP expert, I would say the overall condition is excellent, but not perfect. I was not able to locate a signature, and I am not able to identify the pattern, other than to say that there are hobstars.There is one tooth that is chipped, however it does not stand out, as it is in a valley, or low point along the top rim of the bowl. There are a few... other small flakes and flea bites in various places throughout. For the most part you have to really look for them. Please view pictures closely and carefully, zooming in as needed, as it was not easy to capture imperfections being as small as they are. Of the 12 pictures, I used the first 6 to showcase the beauty of what it is, as it is truly a magnificent piece of American cut glass, despite being less than perfect. The last 6 pictures I tried to emphasize flaws as best I could, or at least the more substantive ones. Please note that there are two pictures of the chipped tooth, not two different ones.I’m not certain of the age, but I’m fairly confident it is around the turn of the century.It measures 10” x 4 1/2” (10” diameter, 4 1/2” tall), it is nice and heavy weighing 5 Lbs 10.8 oz.Please message me if you have any questions or if you would like additional pictures, and I will be happy to oblige ASAP.I also have a slightly small two piece crystal pedestal bowl available as of the time of this post, so please see my other listings.Thank you for your consideration.
