Original Description:
Charming rare Art Deco SALTER household cast iron kitchen scale (model #33) and original round metal pan, used for weighing produce and ingredients for cooking/baking. Color of the cast iron and metal back plate is an English racing green. Minor chips to the paint due to age (circa 1900) and use. Weighs up to 7 lbs. 2 oz. The face of the scale is the original cream, now with a worn patina and scratches. Spring scale in working condition; can be calibrated using a screw on the backside.... Metal round pan has darkened/tarnished with some surface rust from age and use. Salter kitchen scales have been the UK’s leading food weighing scales for over 260 years, developed to ensure total accuracy in your kitchen. Wonderful addition to your country kitchen.
