See Photos. Comes from a clean non smoking home. In very good condition. Beautiful Patina with no bends or breaks. Blades move easily up and down. Very heavy. Weighs nearly 23 pounds. This is a Stunning vintage peacock fan fireplace screen with an ornate three dimensional Greek goddess on a torch and gargoyle or winged lion on each side. The top is adorned with a dual serpent finial handle. Both sides identical. Features the finest craftsmanship, materials, and design elements of this ...era. Design allows heat and light from the fire to shine through, or discreetly hides an unlit fire or empty firebox. The screen can be folded flat and sits neatly in its stand when not required but when it is opened out the pierced Brass “Peacock Feathers” fan out to a full display. Approx 32" tall.
