we are happy to accept payment by cheque or bank transferan extremely nice example of an art nouveau pewter tea glass with its green glass liner, designed by archibald knox, it was produced in the art nouveau jugendstil secessionist era in 1900's at the same time as the german firms of wmf, kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter, made by William Hair Haselers of Birmingham for the liberty & co cymric ware range, (they als...o made the tudric range of pewter ware) and is easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox and others, the pewter is in an unpolished condition with good original patination and retaining its green glass liner which is in good order, the liner may be later replacement but it has good weight , colour and is a snug fit, the stylised floral design which is repeated twice around the body of the jug is crisp and sharp so the overall condition should be consider as superb and a really fine display piece measuring a tad under 5" and fully marked it is a recognised design an as a bonus carries the (made by liberty & co stamp), it is over100 years old and as such may have some very minor signs of age and usage commensurate of a functional piece of its age, if you require any further information, please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.
