A superb antique American 19th century folk art oil on canvas of a winter farmyard scene at night.This fabulous original oil on canvas American painting shows a farmyard at night in the snow with chickens, geese, cows and a dog accompanying a mother and her children, the home under a majestic tree with a barn and woman milking the cows in the distance. The paint has been very heavily applied in areas which brings wonderful depth to the painting.The painting measures approximately 27 1.../2 x 18 inches.The painting is in general very good condition. The painting measures approximately 27 1/2 x 18 inches.
The painting is in general very good condition. It has a couple of old repairs. Please check all pictures.
