This is a wonderful vintage circa 1900 genuine French art nouveau ink blotter (buvard). The design is detailed and depicts raspberries or black berries with their leaves. This is a substantial piece that would look fantastic on an impressive desk. It is about 7 inches long, 3 inches wide, and more than 4 inches tall at its highest point. It weighs almost 1 pound 12 onces. The signature A Marionnet appears toward the bottom of the bronze. the ...bronze sits on a nice wood base. {F4548}A. Marionnet is a highly collectible and valuable artist who produced bronze items around the turn of the century.
