Antique1894 Willcox & Gibbs ChainStitch Sewing Machine HeadAppearsto be fully functional, operates correctly but needs a good cleaning.The function is probably the smoothest of any machine I've comeacross. NOTE: After I got this machine home and removed thehead I noticed on the underside a crack on the bottom. Hard tosee from a top view but someone had apparently dropped at some pointand did a good job of re-gluing the parts. It is solid and will notcome apart. It in no way affects... the function of the head. I'vetaken photos that show the break from top and bottom of head, sitslevel and screws properly to the top.Photosdepict condition. Serial # A586283.
