Wonderful Old Antique, Handsome Arts & Crafts/Mission Hand Hammered Antique Solid Copper Box, it has beautiful hand cut, hand hammered strap hinges attached with large hand hammered copper rivets, with four sturdy legs, attached with those awesome old rivets & old soldering! It measures approx. 9 3/4" Wide X 5 5/8" Deep X 2 1/4" Tall and it weighs about 2-3 lbs. or so. Its great for letters, checks, bills, jewelry, money, trinkets, tea bags, guitar picks & strings, candy......I thought of a number of things & others that I haven't named, now you think of some things, take it home, enjoy & display this beautiful old piece of artwork in your home, office, studio or any ole place you like! Its got a wonderful old warm patina that only comes with lots of age & handling! I don't clean antiques but if you do, I'm sure this will shine up quite nicely! It's all hand made & very old so don't expect perfection, I think you'll love it just the way it is! Fresh from an old Seattle Estate and right to the market!
