You are bidding on a wonderful pair of vintage sterling silver poultry shears made in Italy. Found at an estate, these poultry shears have sterling handles and presumably stainless steel blades. These shears measure 10" long and have wonderfully decorative handles. The shears are in good condition but there is some corrosion in the blade area (as seen in the photos). The blades are clearly marked Sterling and the word Italy appears on the blade. There is a... little dent on the handles at the very top where both handles meet, but otherwise very nice.
I use the US Postal Service and use priority mail to ensure quick delivery although size/weight can often be a deterrent due to a balloon fee on boxes over a certain size. Shipping costs are based on weight distance from my home in Fairhaven, MA. In simplest terms, I ship priority mail unless it is a book (then I ship using media mail) or if the item is bigger than a breadbox or heavier than 5 lbs (unless I can fit it in a flat rate box).
I've been selling on Ebay since 1998 but this is not a full time job. I'm happy to answer all questions but please be aware that these questions are normally answered after I have returned home from work. I encourage you to look at my other auctions for a wide variety of items. I often sell glass, pottery, books, art, and other unusual items one may find at yard sales and estate sales. Best of luck in your bidding and thanks for your time looking at my auction.
