This is a vintage/antique chromcraft kitchen chair with red cracked ice upholstery. We believe the vinyl upholstery is original. The metal studs or tacks that surround the upholstery are in good condition with 95% being original. ( we see three missing) The chrome is is goodcondition for the age and use of this type of chair. The chair is approx 32 " tall . The seat is approx 15" deep and 14 1/2&n...bsp; wide. These chairs were used daily in the kitchen and took a lot of use. This chair has the rubber tips on the feet and retains the original tag underneath. one of the tall caps is missing. This chair was made by Chromcraft when it was still part of the American Manufacturing and Fixture Co between 1939 and 1955. At this time they were located in Missouri. Later the company broke away from american Manufacturing and moved to Mississippi and was Chromcraft INC. This is a chair that is a genuine blast from the past. Not a reproduction so it is not new. Look closely at the pictures and ask questions before you buy. You can search for your own shipping rates if you wish. We will accommodate you when possible. You may find something lessexpensive. The chair itself weigh 14 pounds. This does not include box/crate or packing materials. We have calculated our shipping price if we handle everything.
