This Buy it Now auction is for an old U.S. Navy Ship Captain's Hat. This is a circa 1898 Spanish-American War item, that is an Antique over one hundred years old. It is an old 19th Century relic in Used Condition with wear damage from use. It also has damage from being a relic that is over 100 years old. Time slowly destroys old things. The ribbon on the outside of the hat is fraying, and ripping. I do not know the size of the hat, don't bother askin...g. Nobody in their right mind would even try wearing this old Antique relic. Trying to wear this hat would only damage it. It is already falling apart because it is over 100 years old. There is a manufacturer marking on the inside of the hat. This fragile old relic item can be mailed in a Medium size USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box. It is an old Used item that has sun fading, dirt stains, rotted threads and materials, and is falling apart. It is an old relic collectable. It is not a usable item, or wearable clothing.

Hats will be crushed and bent out of shape. Do not expect clothing to fit you, it is not your size. Expect oxidation and rust on the metal parts. A Large Priority Mail Flat Rate box costs $25.00 to mail within the United States, or $69.00 to mail to Canada, or $115.00 to mail World Wide overseas outside the USA. However I am now unable to do excess shipping refunds, since Ebay started the Managed Payment system. It takes between 3 to 5 days for funds to transfer to my bank account. I will not be able to mail an item until after the funds finish transferring over to my bank. I'm not trying to play games and cheat anyone on the shipping costs. I'm trying to be 100% up front and honest. No "Free Shipping", the buyer has to pay 100% the shipping Cost. You have to pay whatever Ebay Incorporated says the calculated shipping amount is.
