DESCRIPTION: Gorgeous vintage music box/powder jar made in Germany. The music box is in the brushed gold aluminum lid that is topped with decorative filigree and jewels. The music box is key winding and is not the typical music powder box – it has a full spectrum of notes – beautiful tone – and an unidentified song. The base is white veined pink stone. It is a gorgeous and unusu...al piece.
MANUFACTURER'S MARK: Stamped Germany inside the lid.
MEASUREMENTS: About 3 ½ inches tall, 6 inches in diameter.
CONDITION: Music box winds and plays beautifully. No chips or cracks to the base. Brushed aluminum lid has a few usage marks and the filigree needs polished. Small flattened area on the rim of the lid. As pictured.
