Vintage M1 Garand Bayonet Scabbard. Made for Denmark's Military. The scabbard is a well made copy of the U.S. M.7 with a slightly more rounded body. Originally the body was a wood grain plastic. Most were apparently later painted olive green overall, very similar to the U.S. color. Original finish of the metal is not certain as the few that have been viewed all have been painted, where the paint is missing (like this one) the metal appears white. The... olive green paint on the body has mostly come off showing a dark patterned color, shows scratches, some surface wear/fraying at the point. These also fit the US Bayonets and lock accordingly. The throat is marked with a crown and "FKF" which means what is on the title and roughly translated means, Defense War Material Administration.*See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
