Up for auction is a rare vintage pair of Black Americana musician salt and pepper shakers. These date to the 1940s and are either American or Japan made. One is playing the horn while the other is playing the accordion.
They are 4 inches tall. The pour holes are on the top of their heads. Each have 3 pour holes. They appear to be hand painted (including gilt) and there is some tiny loss of paint in various places. Both have their stoppers. There are no marks.
