Antique Waltham hunting pocket watch. Single sunk dial with Arabic numerals. The movement is marked A.W.W.CO. Waltham Mass. 15 Jewels. The serial number is 12998447. The watch is stem wind and set and is running but has not been tested long term.
The gold filled case is ornately engraved with designs on the front and back of the case. The case latch mechanism works as it should and the cover opens when the crown is depressed. The inside of the back cover is marked Keystone Wat...ch Case with shield and scales. The inside of the inner cover is marked Guaranteed J. Boss 25 years with a shield. The gold fill does not appear to be worn through and the engraving on the case shows very little wear as well.
