Up for auction is this beautiful oil painting of a young girl in a gold ornate wood frame. I don know which is prettier, the frame or the girl. The frame measures 13 x 16". The oval opening 8 x 10", inside is 8.5 x 6.5". Some of the flowers are 2" high. Picture 8 shows a small break in the bow, some of the leave tips show wood. It is gold and beautiful. There is no signature on the oil painting. The ...back is covered so hard to say what it is painted on. I think it's oil on board. Has a dark dress and a ruffle lace collar. Not sure of the age but I think the clothes could be around the 30's. I think there is a repair to the frame last picture. Because of its age selling as is. Please ask questions.
