Beautiful, Vintage, South Bend 59- 9' 3/2 6 weight 6.0oz Split-Cane Fly Rod with Red Agate Stripping Guide. Very Good-Excellent Condition. Ex.Condition South Bend and 59-9 Logo and writing. All Sections correct length and straight . All Original(Except Winding's). South Bend internal down-locking (All should be) reel-seat with Beautiful Brown electroplated anodized aluminum barrel with bright Nickle hoods. Patented seven inch ''Comficient'' cork ring-grip. Nickle plat...ed rolled welt ferrules, Solid and secure along with Hardened Steel snake guides. Ferrules go in Tight and POP! out smooth. Winding's tight and secure and recently refinished with 2-coats FLEX-COAT color preserver and thread sealant. Then 3-coats of Spar-Urethane was brushed over the sealant along with the entire rod. Nice S.B. non-matching 323 Canvas Sleeve included. Nice solid uniform feel with no clicks. This must be a lucky Rod, it still has Trout Scales imbedded in it. As is. What you see is what you get.
