Antique Early 19thc LargeHerculaneum Fine White Stoneware Jug. C1805  Lord Nelson  Very rare Herculaneum fine stoneware ovoidshaped jug with sprig relief decoration. Standing 8.5 inches high and from lip tohandle almost 8 inches. Wonderful sprig reliefs including a figure ofLord Nelson.  The condition is very good with just a tinyblemish on the lip (not chipped) Unmarked but without doubt Herculaneum. Reference is made to a similar ewer... inSTONEWARE by Diana Edwards and Rodney Hampson pages 140 to 142.A fabulous jug it displays verywell indeed. (I have listed two more similar Herculaneumewers on eBay this week) I will ship worldwide. Overseas buyers pay pal only.~~~~~
