Vintage Radio Control Controlaire Galloping Ghost Single Channel Rate Decoder
From a recent Estate Sale, we are offering a Vintage Controlaire, Galloping Ghost, solid-state, single-channel Rate Decoder.
A very rare find, this decoder is a perfect unit for anyone wanting to fly 'Dither Free' Galloping Ghost.
When used with a single channel Radio Control system, this so...lid state rate decoder electronically 'de-codes' the rate/width signals from the pulse transmitter, and 'converts' the rate/width information into two individual 'decoded' signals, which are then sent to TWO different pulse actuators, thereby eliminating the 'inter-action' typical when flying with a single, Galloping Ghost actuator, like the Rand LR-3.
We are also including copies of the original Factory Instruction Manual, as well as a 'hand-drawn' schematic for this Decoder.
