You are viewing a 1965 SCHWINN 24” wheeled kids bike that I converted to a Klunker for one of my sons years ago. I’m not sure if it’s an American, Typhoon, or Fleet, but I believe those frames were the same anyway, so in the current modified state it probably doesn’t even matter anymore. It has a bmx fork, bars, and three piece cranks. I found a set of new Scrambler tires, and completed the build with a set of Fly Cruiser bars and a Dyno 1” quill stem. Old Specialized saddle ...too. The cranks are on the long side, but they work fine with the occasional pedal strike. I’m also including the bars and stem that came with the bike if you’d like to convert it back to vintage cruiser, but it would need quite a bit of work. The frame is straight with no dents, but this is an old bike with original paint, or lack there of, so don’t expect to win any beauty contests with this one. The head badge was stolen, and the kickstand has failed, so its strapped to the frame. You could make this bike really cool, but my boys have moved on to dirt jumpers and mountain bikes, so it’s time to let this one go. The entire bike rides well, but it’s time for me to let it go to someone who will enjoy it. The pics tell the story here. That said, if you’re unhappy with your purchase for any reason, feel free to return within 14 days for a complete refund, minus shipping, of course. Please contact me with questions. Thanks!
