This is a nice used never abused Antique Fixed Half Moon Blade Leather crafters/saddlers cutter/Knife with Mahogany or Rosewood handle w/brass neck fitting, made in USA, by W. Rose West Phila. The tool is signed by the maker W. Rose, West Phila, (the old abbreviation for Philadelphia, PA) also has the initials D.D.B. nicely engraved in blade. This is a nice solid tight connected 19th century antique leather tool that has a crescent shaped blade which is still q...uite sharp but could use a refinish/polishing. Condition: good, light corrosion on blade (will clean up nicely if chosen to do so, tiny blade edge & surface nicks, tiny corner chip one upper edge of blade. PLEASE ZOOM IN ON ALL PHOTOS...
