An all original survivor purchased from the original owner's family. He played a 1956 Les Paul Junior through his Magnatone. Roughly equivalent to a tweed Fender Champ, the Student model is a great practice or recording amp. The distinctive cabinet design is and rarity make for an extremely cool grab and go small tube combo. An unmodified survivor with the original two prong plug and black plate RCA tubes. The original basketweave tweed covering... is in good shape with a few stains and snags. The serial number plate is on the bottom of cabinet, with Model-199-3-J silkscreened on the faceplate. The amp works but has never been serviced. Channel one has plenty of volume but channel two is relatively quiet and there is some hum. Amp maintenance is a personal choice with lots of options so we offer this one "AS-IS" with no reserve and leave those options to the buyer. WORLDWIDE SHIPPING AVAILABLE.
