Circa 1900, this is a gold pin in the Art Nouveau style. The woman in the crescent moon has textured flowing locks that follow the shape of the moon which is set with 3 turquoise stones in tiny stars incised into the metal. In some pictures, her hair casts a shadow on the pin stem, but that is all it is, the metal is not damaged. This pin is unsigned but the woman’s head is probably 18K gold consistent with the time it was made. The moon appears to be gold filled. Our scale does... not pick up the weight, it is light at about 1” in diameter. The pin stem is secure and works fine. Please see our Shipping and Return policies for more information.
