Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to offer here, an absolutely marvelous scarce antique c.1860-1870's French Empire (reign of Napoleon III) Leopold Oudry silver-plated bronze footed jewelry / treasure casket box with blue tufted silk interior. God Neptune scene on the hinged lid top; lion heads on the sides; ornate on all sides except bottom. Signed: L.Oudry, Pre Editeur.
Original condition with normal wear; few buttons on the silk not present. Working lock with an original key....
Measures: 10.25" x 6.75" x 6.5".
