For sale is a sterling silver coconut cup made in London by Pairpoint Brothers in 1931. It features a hollowed coconut shell with primitive carving of a man with a rifle, a horse, palm trees, and a building. It has a sterling base and a decorative sterling rim. It bears hallmarks on both the base and the rim for sterling silver made in London in 1931, and has the Pairpoint Brothers' maker's mark on the base. Pairpoint Brothers were known for making very hi...gh quality reproductions of classic sterling designs, so this cup, with its primitive carving and simple sterling embellishments, is quite unusual.
