For sale is this antique Yerkes & Plumb 2-3/4 lb. sledge hammer head, measuring 4-5/16" long, with excellent 1-3/8" wide X 1-1/4" tall octagonal faces, and a 3/4" X 1" oval eye. Signed "Y&P" with a anchor logo, it is in excellent overall condition as pictured. Yerkes and Plumb operated under that name from only 1881-1886, making this head 134-139 years old. This is a difficult to find tool in any condition, and would make a great gift for the blacksmith. Please view all o...f the pictures to determine condition for yourself.
